Old dogs learn new tricks as VECC Greens win C&S Opener against Warners Bay

Old dogs David Prisk (pictured above) and Phil Guest (pictured left ) were out in force for the Valentine Eleebana Greens yesterday After club stalwart Andrew Cartwright captured 4 wickets yesterday the boys were faced with the task of scoring 121 runs before the rain hit. VECC managed to do this with 2 minutes to spare before the rain came down thanks mainly to a half century from Phil Guest and 40 not out to new team vice captain David Prisk. This was a welcomed victory to the team given they have climbed out of the cellars of D grade to tackle C grade this season.
A great start to the season boys well done.
